Abstract

Measurement of the longitudinal wave acoustic logging while drilling obstacles - is amplitude a larger drill collars wave suppress or even submerged , and called for a sound insulator is necessary to ensure that sufficient strength to meet the needs of the drilling , but also to effectively direct wave attenuation drill collars interference , in order to measure accurate formation signal performance sound insulation body is designed to be one of the key technologies of acoustic logging while drilling . Borehole sound field theory , the use of the real axis integration method numerical simulation of acoustic logging while drilling monopole , dipole and quadrupole sound field response , a systematic analysis of the of drill collars wave formation wave interference , theoretically verify eliminate or suppress the need to drill collars wave acoustic logging while drilling longitudinal wave measurements ; comprehensive analysis of drill collars wave propagation using finite element analysis software ANSYS , found that the the drill collars wave inherent stopband stopband center the relationship between the frequency and bandwidth and the size of the drill collars can be determined, and through the drill collar waves inherent stopband can broaden on the drill collar groove , this idea study design scheme of the different sound insulator . To take into account the mechanical strength of the sound insulation body to finalize the design of a sound insulator , and its sound insulation performance simulation analysis and found that the sound insulator program is able to achieve more than 20dB sound reduction ; this program processing LWD acoustic logging sound insulation experimental prototype , and the use of the push-pull power amplifier forced drive to launch different frequency transducer generates acoustic signals along the sound insulator spread , measured and calculated direct wave by different frequencies of drill collars the sound insulator ago after the sound attenuation curve , found that the excitation frequency range of 15kHz ~ 17kHz sound transmission loss of 20dB or more , be able to meet on-site LWD sonic logging longitudinal wave measurement requirements .
