Abstract


Resistivity low permeability reservoir logging interpretation and evaluation is a significant challenge for today , one of the special features that make petrophysical reservoir for conventional conductive model applied in such reservoirs are less effective , hydrocarbon saturation calculation larger error . In this paper, the complexity of low permeability reservoir resistivity electrical characteristics of studies suggest that : conduction mechanism associated with the characteristics of the rock is mainly produced by depositing additional conductive fine particles , micro- pores caused by high irreducible water saturation and complex pore structure . Mainly from the low-permeability rock resistivity experimental data , this paper analyzes the applicability of existing models , and make improvements . Caused mainly by the muddy on the low-permeability layer resistivity , electric double layer model analysis of the applicability and actual application parameters difficult to determine , in the dual water model to strike a new parameter proposed method . Complex causes of low permeability reservoir , improve capillary model : that the poor sorting small pore formation may also be part of the oil and gas flooding , the introduction of invasive characterization of small pores oil level parameters. Studies show that the improved capillary model complex causes of low permeability reservoir application better. For argillaceous sandstone, clay type , content and distribution in the form of rock conductivity has an impact , especially when the formation water salinity is low impact more obvious. In this paper, numerical simulation study on the above factors and analyze the variation . For complex causes of low permeability sandstone , the main analysis of micro pores in the rock conditions , skeleton conductivity and pore structure on the complexity of the electrical properties of the rock .
