Southern China stalagmite δ18O changes in the orbital and millennial-scale multi instructions on summer rainfall and summer rainfall or summer water vapor source changes, may also contain the information changes in winter temperatures, short scale (decadal - centuries) stalagmite δ18O fluctuations in the climate significance also be interpreted as the summer rainfall or water vapor source changes. In this paper, meteorological observation data and at the same time segment stalagmite δ18O test short-scale rainfall, water vapor source or temperature changes on southern China stalagmite δ18O fluctuations. Southern China, the same caves or cave stalagmite oxygen isotope sequence has good repeatability in period overlaps with meteorological observation data length (nearly 50 years) are presented in a slightly positive trend may be affected by the impact of the recording resolution differences prejudiced the rate is not consistent, the consistency of the overall trend remains: It should be the same mechanism from the outside of the karst system control the occasion stalagmites from southern δ180's to centennial scale fluctuations. By analyzing these caves nearby meteorological stations precipitation data, found that nearly 50 years of monk-hole and Dongge Cave Area summer precipitation and summer precipitation accounts showed an increasing trend of the ratio of annual precipitation, only consider summer precipitation changes, precipitation δ18O of these areas should be the long-term trend is negative. The summer atmospheric precipitation in the study area equations and regional the seven GNIP site summer precipitation δ18O data of the monthly correlation analysis showed that: marine air masses from the southwest channel transport in most of China Southern summer rainfall. 1951-2000 NCAR / NCEP reanalysis data calculated in southern China vapor flux results further indicate that nearly 50 years, Southwest has been the most important channel for China Southern summer water vapor transport channel, the, summer vapor source changes can not explain the stalagmites 618O The Prejudiced trend. Two caves near the meteorological stations in the temperature data show the variability of mean annual temperature of the cave area between 0.03 ℃ / 10a ~ O.15 ℃ / 10a, if only to consider the average annual temperature and precipitation δ18O, then this article calculated temperature increase can cause precipitation in 8180, slightly positive rate of 0.012 ‰ ~ 0.105 ‰ / 10a, the stalagmite δ18O a Prejudiced rate of nearly 50 years with the results match. This paper argues that occasion the stalagmites δ180's - centennial scale fluctuations are likely to reflect the changes in the atmospheric temperature.
