Abstract

The light paper since the mid-1990s into China, gradually being our printers, and users of all ages, more and more used in the production of books and printing. Manufacturers are mainly used in the production of lightweight paper is to add high yield pulp, the foreign mills even use 100% chemical mechanical pulp. For the the shortage status quo of China's timber resources, increase the bulk of the paper should minimize the use of chemical mechanical wood pulp. Global Investigator improved through the addition of organic chemical aids into the bulk of the paper, the basic principle is that by making the surface of the fiber having a hydrophobic, to reduce the bonding between the fibers, so that bulk into the paper to improve. In this paper, a method to improve the bulk of the light paper, wood bulky agent complex through the addition of organic chemical aids and bentonite paper papermaking to achieve the purpose to improve paper bulk. Synthesis lignin - phenolic resin process conditions, analysis of the papermaking process in a variety of mixed on paper properties, and a complex ratio determined by orthogonal experiments, the final research paper pore structure Printability. (1) The synthetic lignin - phenolic resin experimental process conditions, various reaction conditions on the product properties. After experimentally derived: the ratio of the amount of substance of the formaldehyde and phenol is 1.4:1; sodium hydroxide and phenol molar ratio of 0.3:1; reaction time was 2.5h; reaction temperature was 85 ° C; lignin sulfonate The amount of the sodium-substituted phenol is 30%. Lignin - phenolic resin solids content of 30.5%, viscosity 495mPa? The s free phenol and free formaldehyde content of 4.6% and 0.21%, respectively, can be miscible with water. (2) study of lignin - phenolic resin, wood pine the thick agent and bentonite addition on paper properties. Experiments: as the thickness of the paper loose, breaking length, bursting index and smoothness with lignin - the increase of the added amount of the phenolic resin is increased, the ink absorbency decreases with lignin - the increase of the added amount of the phenolic resin; sheet bulk and ink absorption is increased with the increase in the amount of wood bulky agent, breaking length and burst index and smoothness decreases with the increase in the amount of wood bulky agent; smoothness increases with increasing bentonite dosage, bulk, breaking length, burst index and ink absorption decreases with the increase in the amount of bentonite. (3) integrated into paper best performance when lignin - phenolic resin, wood bulky agent and bentonite complex ratio determined by orthogonal experiments. When the lignin - phenolic resins, wood bulky agent and bentonite dosage was 2.0%, 25% and 5%, the best overall performance of the finished paper. (4) initial exploration into the paper pore structure of printability. This experiment into the porosity of the paper discusses the impact on the smoothness and ink absorption into paper. With the paper porosity increases, the smoothness of the paper is reduced, the ink absorptivity increases. The subject innovation lies LPF with the fiber to form hydrogen bonds to form a paper strength and increase the distance between the fibers, so that the loose structure of the sheet, improve retention by LPF and CPAM, significantly improved through the use of wood bulky agent sheet bulk.
