Abstract


The global urban sprawl of the 20th century , leading to the acceleration of the process of European and American cities , suburbs enlarged recession and the city center . The old industrialized urban population plummeted , the layout of the city is also increasingly loose and difficult to control , so bring some structure and morphology of modern urban design study came into being , and has been widespread concern with the rapid development of . 1956 Harvard Conference , urban design disciplines gradually spun off from the original single traditional urban planning branch , the formation of an independent discipline . After decades of continuous development , urban design study has not only created a rich theoretical direction , and embodied in practice more and more in various fields between the multidisciplinary collaboration and integration . In the face of the new urban background with practical problems , both from the design ends and means , or specific landscape design , urban design ideology increasingly become a mainstream trend , a growing number of urban design practice is mainly through the landscape in conjunction with other design ways to achieve the effect of urban renaissance . Urban designers spun off gradually from the the initial aesthetic form advocates , landscape and ecological sustainable as an inevitable process of design and other relevant considerations . 1990s , a growing number of urban design and renovation project diversification pathway through the landscape of modern urban design ideal . These practices also given for the previous simple landscape design composite perspective , especially in the urban landscape project landscape remodeling after the process of industrialization in the practice placed in a more rich and realistic background , more integrated and sustainable view of contemporary landscape design . This paper attempts to identify urban design not only as a subject but also as an ideological and practical significance , retroactive foreign modern urban design theory development with the purpose of content , analyzing the similarities and differences between the understanding of urban design at home and abroad , giving rise to the city thinking of the relationship between the design and landscape design , and by the analysis of some typical modern urban design vision of landscape design case , further summarized and explore the trends and the significance of the modern urban landscape design .
