Abstract


With the rapid development of economy and increasing national strength of China, commercial contact becomes more and more frequent. To a certain extent, it accelerates the development of Chinese hotel industry. At the same time, the competition of hotel business turns to be intense. Therefore, it is vital to highlight cultural and specific characteristics of commercial hotel indoor design. Meanwhile, it is significant to set up cultural system construction and good image of commercial hotel. So the study about utilization of regional culture in commercial hotel indoor design becomes necessary. The focus of the study is the way to design a commercial hotel with regional, cultural characteristics. In this thesis, the author studies the principles and methods in which Mongolian culture applied in Inner Mongolian Hotel indoor design. To achieve the goal, the author analyses the Inner Mongolian Hotel which has the regional characteristics and essential elements in commercial hotel. Then by illustrating the practical utilization of regional culture in Inner Mongolian Hotel indoor design, the author shows applicability of principles and methods in which regional culture applied in commercial hotel indoor design.
