Abstract


Starting from the early 1970s , the Kuomintang regime in Taiwan in order to cope with the challenges of the political situation inside and outside the island , and was forced to change the policy of the past, mainly rely on mainland Chinese officials , launched the \policy to expand the rule base of the regime . This article as a guide to historical materialism , from the background of the implementation of the policy of the KMT 's \This paper argues that the \This article focuses on the localization of Chiang Ching-kuo period policy research and analysis. Chiang Ching-kuo began to grasp the actual leadership of Taiwan in the early 1970s after the implementation of political localization Policy . Its main achievement is : open a the Taiwan political localization door , a large number of Taiwanese political parties to enter the Taiwan high political level , to promote the process of political democratization in Taiwan . Chiang Ching-kuo died in 1988 , successor KMT chairman Lee Teng-hui to the identity of the Taiwanese people , and become the top leaders of Taiwan . This indicates that the Chiang Ching-kuo to promote Taiwan localization policy has been a fundamental breakthrough development . Later, in the promotion of Lee Teng-hui , the continued split in the KMT completed the localization, but also in the localization of the wave , the KMT lost the right to the ruling .
