Abstract

Beginning from the activities of teaching English as a foreign language, as a basic teaching skills, reading has been widespread concern. Only with a strong English reading ability, English language learners will it be possible to obtain greater progress in learning and other academic areas. However, the development of reading strategies has been a real problem in the English as a foreign language learners face. In the field of migration focus on reading research from the early behaviorist that play a decisive role in their mother tongue view, the development of English as a foreign language learners role cognitivism concern. This article aims to cognitive theoretical framework, investigation and analysis of foreign language learners' mother-tongue reading strategies on foreign language reading strategy of the migration phenomenon, which found that the mother tongue and English reading strategy of migration as well as the mother tongue of their reading comprehension. The positive role of the significance of this study lies in the mother tongue and foreign language learning by learners used reading strategies, find Chinese language learners in the use of the mother tongue and English reading strategies, reading their native language strategy with foreign language achievement relationship. The study involved six reading strategies learners learning English a crucial role in learners' mother tongue reading strategies improve their foreign language will be beneficial to the development of reading strategies, and confirmed from a cognitive perspective. The article also pointed out that teach students how to use the native language skills and knowledge of the background to improve the ability to understand and effectively use the strategy as well as monitoring the reading process is the need to consider several issues in foreign language teaching. By reading strategies migration, looking for a real teaching methods can improve the reading ability of foreign language learners.
