Abstract


With the all-round development of global economic integration , international investment has become an important form of economic activity , the extent of liberalization of international investment has been further strengthened . However , environmental issues have become increasingly prominent in the international investment , becoming the great challenges facing human society . Environmental issues in international investment has caused widespread concern in the international community . Paper, based on international investment and environment nexus , the focus of international investment in environmental protection laws and practice in our country , put forward a sound legal system of China's investment recommendations on environmental protection . The first part of this article mainly from international investment, international investment liberalization , globalization of environmental problems as well as the status of the globalization of environmental protection and basic overview of departure to explore the current state of development of international investment and the current global environmental problems . Departure from the current status of the two , the analysis of the relationship between international investment and environmental protection below to pave the way for international investment and environmental protection . The second part of the study most of the countries have signed international investment agreements on environmental protection terms . Especially in the North American Free Trade Agreement ( NAFTA ) and China signed a free trade agreement in recent years as the focus , the study involved an overview of the terms of investment in environmental protection agreements , environmental protection , international investment agreements in terms of environmental protection and environmental protection provisions in the international investment agreements in the form of expression. The third part in the second part of the basis of international investment agreements , the effectiveness of the terms of the relevant environmental protection as well as environmental protection and the effectiveness of the investment conflict in China , analysis of the effectiveness of environmental protection in terms of international investment agreements to explore environmental protection and investment in the conflict and its causes . The fourth part analyzes the coordination of international investment and environmental protection conflict , and the current legal system of international investment in China in respect of the current situation of environmental protection and environmental problems in China , and put forward suggestions for improvement , so that our use of international investment development China's economy at the same time protect our environment, improve environmental quality .
