Abstract

Drive-and-shoot technique and Drive-and-pass tactics are important method to get scores in basketball game. They are traditional Chinese advantages too. But, the large-scale’s mind caused the Chinese team to leave the advantages out. We would recognize its current situation of Drive-and-shoot technique and Drive-and-pass tactics, if we wanted to combine traits with traditional advantages of Chinese team, and give advices on development of basketball techniques and tactics for the Chinese team. This text has used such research approaches as law of documents and materials, investigation method of the questionnaire, video statistic law and mathematics and physics statistic law, etc..It regards the Chinese team’s application of Drive-and-shoot technique and Drive-and-pass tactics in The 16th World Men’s Basketball Championships as subjects. By analyzing and discussing its applying effects and problems, I have drew the following conclusions:1. The total number of breakthroughs in the Chinese team is relatively small. Depends on the way to dribble move maximum, but straight move is relatively rough. In terms of breaking timing, the majority is to use the dribble to force a breakthrough and try to get rid of defense. Lack of ability to capture timing by using screen.2. The Chinese team’s proportion of the number for Drive-and-shoot is larger, that account for the total number, so the score is. The Chinese team choice directly to the basket more after the breakthrough and hit rate is not high. The Chinese team is less strain in the game; Chinese team mainly in lay-up and jump shot after breakthrough. The diversity of shooting needs to be improved. The Chinese team’s turnover is more in Drive-and-shoot. During breakthrough we were lacked of protection for ball. The offensive is not reasonable. But China got more fouls while drive-and-shoot. The Chinese team make a larger threat to the opponent.3. The use of the number of the Chinese team drive-and-pass little less. Unaware of tactical coordination, while drive-and-pass, give the ball inside. The ball running in the range of small, not effectively opened the defense. No matter since the beginning, exceptionally, under emergency hit the ball more leading low; Chinese team drive-and-pass, select the largest proportion of shooting, but did not receive a good score results, Players’passing, the run without the ball, shot timing, and the ability to throw the three-point shot in a fast-moving state are defective; The Chinese team is mainly in chest pass and overhead pass, but the number is less in bounce pass, Both in the passing skills or pass on the awareness to be improved; In term of turnover for Drive-and-pass, The Chinese team has made significant progress compared with the past; Due to fewer passing number, the Chinese team did not use foul to bring destruction to the opponents.4. In terms of offensive man to man defense, the Chinese team made use of drive-and-shoot more, but the using number of drive-and-pass is less, and relatively low hit rate. The Chinese team has chosen way of attack is not reasonable; For offensive zone defense, the Chinese team is relatively balanced in the using of the number of shooting and passing after dribbling, but the hit rate is particularly low, especially drive-and-pass. But the Chinese team was determined to use drive-and-shoot in the fast-break.
