Abstract


Since the Opium War in 1840 to 1949, the founding of the People's Republic of China, modern Chinese society in a shift from the traditional to the modern, the start-up period of transition from closed to open, sports in this particular social processes showing a complex history features. System as the starting point of modern sports to sort out, and help us to sweep aside the heavy fog, explore and understand the road of sports development in China. Sports historical basis to study the evolution of the Chinese sports system for the period from 1840 to 1949, and that it has experienced the infancy, turning, orgasm and mature, and the characteristics of each stage of system development, motivation, its rationality and limitations of the analysis. The late Qing Dynasty (1840-1911), the infancy of modern sports system development. The sports system in military drill of training as the main content appears first in the military regime; Reforms in Late Qing academic reform, school sports preliminary institutionalized; sports system with a strong military national color. Northern Warlords (1912 to 1926) was the turning point of the development of the system of modern sports. Military drill of training, school sports advocate the abolition of the late Qing period institutionally strengthen the competitive sport, to promote the martial arts; the military national education concept guiding ideology from turning pragmatism education concept. Social sports and athletic competition also guide and promote the system, but the overall system construction lag. During the reign of the former National Government in the Sino-Japanese War (1927-1937) is the height of the development of sports system. The dominance of the government in the development of sports has been established, the enactment of the National Sports Act \After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan, the Nationalist government during the reign (1937-1949) is the development of the maturity of the sports system. Although the causes of war, the economy, social development and sports practice are severely affected, but the formulation of the sports system still a breakthrough, the revised and new policies and regulations promulgated by the number much higher than 10 years before the war, especially in sports administration, physical education teachers get attention, sports funding, the logic of the policy and plan more, pay more attention to emphasize its implementation effect. Modern sports system is carried out in the context of Western civilization under the strong pressure shocks, the Chinese government was forced to act of state on the whole structure of the system changes, it is always around the establishment of the nation-state, building a democratic society in the modern social themes evolving at every stage with the changes in the social environment and sports-based decision-making change in the understanding of sports showing different characteristics, there is a different problem.
