Abstract


The postgraduate professional degree education in our country has gone through the expansion in terms of scale and variety during the last twenty years, and has made remarkable achievements. Gradually formed a master’s degree in main, PhD, masters and bachelors degree level three degree system simultaneously. But our postgraduate professional degree education still has some problems in the development; the fundamental reason is the quality problem of postgraduate professional degree education. How to guarantee the teaching quality and promote a sound development of graduate professional degree education remains the focus of the current education reform. The quality evaluation is the assurance of the improvement of teaching and education. The formulation of evaluation project lays down the framework for the advancement of education quality evaluation, in which the determination of evaluation index weight will exert a direct influence on the scientificity of evaluation result. The reasonable distribution of the index weight is the key to the quantitative evaluation of the graduate professional degree education. Therefore, targeting at the evaluation index weight of teaching quality of graduate professional degree education, this paper conducts a thorough Study on the Index Weight for the Quality Evaluation of Postgraduate Professional Degree with the purpose of discovering and addressing the potential issues, to lay the foundation for the establishment of security system for it.The paper amplifies the current situation concerning the determination of evaluation index weight of the Quality Evaluation of Postgraduate Professional Degree and puzzles out the answers to the problems of excessive weight of dissertation and curriculum and the indifference to applicability in the distribution of the evaluation index weight. Proposes certain suggestions to the evaluation index weight of the Quality Evaluation of Postgraduate Professional Degree based on the quality attitude about education and realizes the assignment of weight with the application of comprehensive evaluation method, providing a theoretical and practical basis for the further study of evaluation of professional degree education.
