Abstract

The textbook is the carrier of the course, and cross-cultural teaching materials for the new curriculum reform is of great significance. In this paper, the cornerstone of secondary school mathematics - function, select the the PEP Senior Middle School in China (A) mathematics textbooks and Australia IBID Press IBDP high level of mathematics textbooks carried out a comparative study. In the the IBDP the mathematical high level courses, compare the current situation of mathematics textbooks, secondary function of teaching content literature review, determine research methods, objectives and significance. This paper first introduces the scheduling system of the two sets of textbooks and teaching content, and their characteristics are summarized: (1) PEP textbook embodies the idea of ??an integrated curriculum, both students and disciplinary balance, close contact with the life practice, focusing on solve the problem of consciousness.
