Abstract


Citizens is not only a question of identity, and an awareness of the problem. China's modernization and the building of a harmonious society can not do without a strong sense of civic responsibility. Junior high physical and mental development characteristics of this stage is the best time to strengthen civic awareness. Therefore, the study of Middle School Students' Awareness of Citizenship and educational countermeasures proposed for which the existence of the problem is particularly necessary. The paper is divided into four parts: the first part, the first theoretical analysis of civic awareness. Associated with both of the citizens and the nation-state as the political community of citizens, but also the cultural community citizens. This also includes awareness of both the nature of every citizen. Awareness of its citizens as a political community of citizens, including the national consciousness, awareness of their rights, democratic consciousness and awareness of its citizens, as citizens of the cultural community, including the national consciousness, moral awareness, cultural awareness. The second part, combined with the first part of the civic awareness content analysis, conducted a survey of the status of junior high civic consciousness. The survey results show that junior high school students a strong national consciousness; rights consciousness awakening; stronger sense of responsibility: the sense of democracy began to germinate; sense of participation is poor; national consciousness is not optimistic; cultural awareness is weak; relatively weak sense of morality; better sense of civilization . The third part of this section is to analyze the factors of the junior high school civic awareness. These factors include the socio-cultural, family, school, and mass media. Terms of socio-cultural factors, the students' awareness of their rights, democratic consciousness and the sense of participation due to the influence of the feudal legacy of the not optimistic, plural values ??of contemporary society and popular culture orientation distort the civic consciousness of students to bring some of the adverse effects of. In terms of family factors, patriarchal parenting style is not conducive to the democratic consciousness of students, parents distrust of government influence a student's overall civic awareness. \In school, the mission of the enrollment rate, a single level of lack of teachers 'professional knowledge and teaching methods, school educational resources underutilized, are not conducive to the cultivation of students' civic awareness. The same time, the negative news reports in the mass media and the value orientation vulgar is not conducive to the civic consciousness of students. The fourth part of this section is mainly on how to improve the civic consciousness of junior high school students, some countermeasures from the school education. First, change the traditional academic ideas, emphasis on civic awareness education; Second, improve the professional level of teachers' knowledge, innovation and education about citizenship; Again, make full use of the school educational resources, extensive penetration of civic awareness education.
