Abstract


Vandana Shiva (1952-) is an important representative figure of the Third World ecofeminism. She was one of the best of India’s nuclear physicists, after then turn to ecological and gender issues. Thinking that is rooted in her traditional Indian philosophy and religion, be deeply influenced Mahatma Gandhi, contemporaries also captures some of the Western idea of ecofeminism, combined with seat-watt own unique perspective and experience, especially the late leader of the anti-globalization comprehensive grass-roots movement from practical experience.
