Abstract

As a kind of important academic information resources, open access resources make the academic information exchanging more smooth without copyright restriction.However, with the theory of open access become gradually improvement, we realize that like other types of information resources, the open access resources has become increasingly difficult to received.The main reason for this situation is that in the network environment, the digital information resources increase with a kind of exponential way, People lack of effective method to get information, and traditional methods of information organizations have the defective naturally, so the users cannot accurate retrieve the set of resources which is really important。So find out a method to organize and retrieval the open access resources become an important topic in the open access moment.This paper focus on the characteristics of open access resources and the existing organizational methods, proposed a method to organize the open access resources based on formal concept analysis theory.As a branch of abstract mathematics, formal concept analysis theory can express the reality concept with a mathematical way.The theory is widely used in knowledge acquisition and information retrieval, its data structures concept lattice can organize and retrieval information with a data mining method. It divide reality into objects and attributes two aspects, object is instance of concept, while attribute is the nature of concept.Besides, the objects and attributes in background have a binary relationship, and we can extract all the hidden concept from background.Building concept lattice is a kind of konwledge clustering and discovery process.Then we can make the hierarchy of concept visualization. Using this theory guide information organization can weak the subjective of information artificial classify,and concepts can be described by mathematical symbols. The specific content of this paper is as follows:First we carefully analyzed and research the theory related to open access resources organization and some previous conclusions and methods, then we make a review of the present methods domestic and international, so we can find out the advantages and disadvantages of present methods of OA resources organizations, reveal the paper’s argument.Second, we introduced the technical support of organization method based on FCA especially analysis the sequence related theories, those theories are the foundation of the organizational process.Finally, based on those theories and the characteristics of OA resources,we proposed the organization method. After the steps of information preprocessing, attribute extraction formal context construction. The lattice which can reveal the logical relationship between resources is founded by some formation clusters, and databases. Besides, this paper presents a concept lattice-based navigation method and a subject retrieval algorithms, and we validate the feasibility of concept lattice-based organization method through empirical research, organization and retrieval of information in the field of open access resources, description the superiority of the method.
