Abstract


The new media, represented by Micro-blogging has brought a new information revolution through which the cost on communication of ideas and information has been reduced sharply. The individualization of content, experience and service charaterized by Micro-blogging. whatever you are, grassroots or elites, you have a thorough power of speech by Micro-blogging communication.However, Everything has dual character. The Micro-blogging "opinion field" also shows its positive and negative trends.With its Positive spreading, Micro-blogging has created a kind of discourse atmosphere and communication space.However,with its negative spreading,it has also produced a large quantity of information waste and redundancy, even gossips, lies and so on. Is Micro-blogging communication kind of "public"? or private?Is Micro-blogging communication a form of personalization?or publicity?Thus, leads to the topic of this essay:whether the twitter could build up a public sphere in China? and in what form?
