Abstract


In the process of building network management, network management interface testing is often ignored, which is mainly reflected in the introduction of the network management system without rigorous testing, the quality of the network management system can not be guaranteed, there is no uniform concept of the status of Network Management System, makes it difficult for the subsequent construction of the network management system. In order to ensure the normal interaction between the network management systems and equipment, it is necessary to interface standard based on some kind of test to determine the degree of compliance of the two sides of the interface by interface interaction, only tested and certified NMS and the managed devices to network. This test is called in the field of network management, network management interface testing. Most of the existing network management interface test system for the execution of the test items, artificial way, therefore, the test efficiency and test quality is difficult to obtain reliable guarantee. Some test systems, while supporting the automatic execution of batch test cases, but this is limited to a simple sequential execution of multiple test cases, does not involve data-dependent relationship between the operating parameters, nor does it provide a more flexible branches, judgment testing process control. Although part of the problem can be solved to a certain extent, but for a relatively complex network management interface is not enough. Therefore, the degree of automation of network management interface testing is to be improved. In the network management interface testing, this paper presents based transaction model tissue test case, will have a logical relationship, and the ability to complete the module functional testing of multiple test cases are combined to form a test transaction. The test transactions written in the XML language, and there the test transaction description specifications written in xmlschema, the test transaction test system analysis execution, the completion of a specific function module test and improve the degree of test automation. Test transaction is for the organization of a number of associated test steps may have data or business dependencies, and executed in accordance with the order of business logic. Test transaction that can be a simple transaction (for example, waiting for a response to queries) can also be a complex transaction (for example, to perform multiple queries based on the query results to submit orders). Test transaction to reflect the relationship between logical sequence of steps of the test call, the next test step is selected branch is determined according to the results of the previous test step, test step iterative the test step parameter assignment (including variable assignment and test procedures context assignment), test result data retention and recycling Evaluation of test results.
