Abstract


Software complexity rising exponentially growing BUG number of manual tests have been overwhelmed . The theorists experts have pointed out that the model checking (ModelChecking) will become the future trend . The selected two each targeted model checking tool CBMC MOPS , complementary checks OpenSSH system used in a large number of network applications , the use of the different characteristics of the two tools , cross-checks each inspection results , and verify the results for the consistency proof . CBMC is a model checker for ANSI-C and C , it is good to check the program 's reliability : such as check array bounds , buffer overflows , pointer safety procedural in nature , but it also allows the use of custom assertions to program modeling validation . MOPS is designed to find security BUG C program model checker . It can be used to verify that the program to meet the timing safety properties . Temporal safety properties whether a set of actions to be performed in accordance with the requirements of the order , and this is especially important in the security features of the program . OpenSSH is a free encryption tool software , it all , including the password to encrypt data traffic , effective defense listener connection interception and other network-level attacks . OpenSSH system reliability or safety BUG is likely to result in significant losses , so this this software as the object of the experiment . Firstly, use two software checks validation object , use another software targeted modeling effective BUG for review . Finally, use of formal methods to prove the consistency of the results of the check .
