Abstract


This paper examines the role played by countries within a regional economic ties and such contact individual economic development. The author analyzes the role played by the Economic Community of West African region, Ghana example discusses the significant effect of the Economic Community of West African States \Ghana from 1999 to 2005, member states of the Economic Community of West African States \This paper analyzes the Economic Community of West African States to promote regional investment and the introduction of the agreement (treaty or consensus), such as the free movement of persons agreement, living in the right to settle the agreement and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) free trade agreement. This paper is divided into five chapters. Chapter 1 Introduction This chapter introduces the main thrust of the whole thesis: first described the characteristics of today's international system - system in the countries previously regarded as independent of the behavior of the body and its historical changes and the gradual elimination of barriers and boundaries, situation of increasingly closer economic, political and social ties, the contact between the countries today are more closely. This through the example of Ghana, we can come to a clear understanding of the participation of member countries of the Economic Community of West African States \Many of the problems of the world today can not be solved through domestic political channels, they usually need other ways to find the resources to solve. This statement can be proved in Ghana and the Economic Community of West African States and other countries in trade relations. Cooperation among nations to maintain peace and friendly. As the degree of inter-dependence of national economies continue to strengthen, many people think now practices among countries to resolve their differences through war has become unacceptable and impractical. Doing so will cause both time-consuming and labor-intensive, and economic losses. Functional theory is another international relations theory used to analyze regional integration in West Africa this article. ECOWAS member states in capital flows, communications, personnel exchanges, information and communication exchanges deepening and coordination in dealing with foreign affairs, West Africa issued a stronger voice in the international community.
