Abstract

At present, China -made large commercial aircraft is in the development stage , APU is a large , medium-sized aircraft on one of the indispensable components in the APU matching and installation of the system need to be considered when designing the safety and reliability. Based on actual engineering of the APU installed system redundancy design and damage tolerance design techniques have been studied for the APU installation system initial program selected , APU vendor and model structure selection and installation verification provide technical support. APU home and abroad through research use and installation data in a redundant design principles , based on the typical APU installed on this system is analyzed , studied the redundant design of the installation structure. From a design point of view, combined with engineering application requirements, parametric modeling using ANSYS APDL language , respectively, of the APU hollow rod and rod for solid modeling and finite element calculations . The loop is set using the APDL , the program can automatically search for a suitable crack shape parameters , calculated for each state of the stress intensity factors . Based Forman crack growth model estimates compiled APU mounting rod life applications - LifeEst. The given geometry , material parameters and the load spectrum case, the use of the software can effectively estimate the initial crack with APU lever life. The results of this study can be applied not only to install the APU rod damage tolerance analysis, but also to analyze other tension , the finale to load hollow , solid round bar , has some versatility. As the first stage at home and abroad within the initial crack in the wall of the expansion has been more research , this paper focuses on the second stage of crack extension analysis of crack shape parameters on the distribution of the stress intensity factor , and also studied initial crack and material parameters on APU Trolley life impact and get relevant results.
