Abstract


This article through multilateral implied carbon dioxide emissions to conduct an in-depth study of China's manufacturing industry in 1996-2004 16 industry trade input-output model , were calculated net import and export of China trade implied CO2 emissions implied CO2 emissions (BEET) and environment the terms of trade index value (PTT) and unilateral trade model under the corresponding values ??obtained were compared . Overall, the multilateral model BEET index value greater than PTT index value greater than 1 , and 1996-2004 BEET and PTT index value has a growth trend , which means \Chinese unit export implied CO2 emissions from large units imported implied CO2 emissions , namely carbon intensity of China 's export products is greater than the carbon intensity of imported products , developed countries have to transfer to China through international trade may polluting industries . The metering results show that 16 industries in China BEET and PTT index value to their international competitiveness indicators correlated significantly positive , that China has a comparative advantage in the import and export of industry net implied CO2 emissions (BEET) high terms of trade ( PTT) deterioration . This shows that China has a comparative advantage in the high carbon emissions industry , in order to avoid its responsibility for emissions reductions by developed countries through the consumption of carbon-intensive goods imported from China . Therefore , the phenomenon of the \In addition , the efficiency of China's manufacturing industry improve conducive to China 's import and export net implied a reduction of the total CO2 emissions (BEET) , R \u0026 D investment can improve our environmental trade conditions ( PTT ) . Therefore , Chinese enterprises should improve the efficiency of energy conservation investments , the use of modern production technology to accelerate the conservation of resources and improve the environment.
