Abstract

With global warming impact to human beings became increasingly obvious that the world are actively looking for their own low-carbon economic development model, consumption of economic development as an important part of the process is bound to corresponding. Household consumption of food consumption as a very important part, in recent years has become increasingly get people's attention. Food consumption on ecology, energy, land use, air, water and others have varying degrees of impact, while food consumption is the carbon dioxide content of the atmosphere has a great influence. 2008 Weber, Matthews on the U.S. food system made overall economic input-output life cycle assessment studies show that the average U.S. indirectly through food per person per year the amount of CO2 emissions per person per year about ancient America for 15% of total CO2 emissions. In this thesis, China's urban household food consumption and carbon impact of its economic factor. This article first collected in 1985 -2009, \In this paper also defines household food consumption study of carbon range, the distinction between domestic direct and indirect food consumption food carbon carbon consumption, calculated on the basis of China's urban households direct and indirect food consumption food carbon carbon consumption. China's urban households on food consumption studies show: 1985 - 2009 China's urban residents per capita household food consumption overall downward trend. 1985 - 2009 China's urban residents per capita proportion of household food consumption was significantly reduced, and oil, meat, eggs, aquatic products, alcohol accounted for some of the major food proportion of the total food consumption has improved to varying degrees, vegetable consumption accounts for little change in the proportion of total food consumption. China's urban household food carbon consumption has not yet reached a steady state, the change and economic factors have great relevance. 1985 - 2009 China's urban residents per capita household food direct carbon consumption and per capita GDP index of urban residents per capita disposable income of urban residents per capita food consumption expenditure price index of food consumption of urban residents, the Engel coefficient correlation. 1985 - 2009 China's urban household food consumption and GDP per capita carbon indirect index of urban residents per capita disposable income of urban residents per capita consumption expenditure of durable goods, durable consumer price index for urban residents were significantly correlated. Based on these studies, we propose the following related countermeasures and suggestions: adjust the diet, a reasonable diet of universal knowledge; guide residents to low-carbon consumption awareness, strengthen the concept of low-carbon consumption education; promote low carbon living, strengthening policy guidance.
