Abstract


With the ever-changing scientific and technological progress, mankind has created unparalleled material wealth, but also caused serious environmental damage and the depletion of natural resources, the environment facing an unprecedented crisis of human survival, thus, environment and development had become an international major issues of common concern to society. In the process of modernization, China is inevitably encountering the great challenges of the environment and development. Without development there is no way out, but the expense of the environment, development will go astray. The establishment of ecological civilization idea of ??running the country pointed out the direction to crack the problem of economic development and environmental protection, as well as environmental protection has become a powerful national will. Ecological civilization advocated a man and nature, man and society, the harmony and unity of the people and the environment, related to the fundamental interests of the people, related to the global building a moderately prosperous society, related to social harmony and stability, and long-term stability of the country. The environmental protection department is the main force in the construction of ecological civilization, responsibility and glorious mission.
