Abstract


With the global economic development and population growth , water has become an important strategic development affecting the world one of the elements . 1993 , by the University of London Professor Tony Allan and developed virtual water theory for global water balance, to solve water shortage water-scarce countries opened up new avenues , causing many scholars and experts in related fields wide attention , and About virtual water theory, virtual water trade and virtual water strategy research increasingly sophisticated . China is the world water resources 13 people were one of the poorest countries , so the research theory and virtual water trade , the implementation of virtual water strategy to solve the problem of water scarcity and promote the comprehensive development of China's national economy has an important significance. Domestic and international agricultural research field of virtual water more perfect agricultural virtual water research also has a more complete model , however , forest products as a special water-intensive products, related fields of virtual water and virtual water trade are rarely studied . Therefore, this article from the virtual water theory and its related concepts , theoretical basis, and on many domestic and foreign scholars in the virtual water to summarize the research reviewed, and learn from the agricultural sector model of virtual water research methods proposed forestry virtual water method , estimate the forest and wood products mainly virtual water content . On this basis , combined with the 2000 to 2009 China's major import and export trade in wood products , obtained from 2000 to 2009 China's major timber forest virtual water trade , determine the virtual water trade in forest products trade in our place, and The results are explained on the relevant analysis . Finally , according to the theory of comparative advantage , combined with the results of the analysis put forward guide our future forest products trade countermeasures.
