Abstract


From the 1970s , the GMO technology has been rapid development, the emergence of genetically modified foods GM technology is highlighted significant impact on the public . As ordinary consumers are buying their food , have the right , for more genetically modified foods is also true . In view of transgenic technology to artificially changed after millions of years of biological evolution gene structure formed stable , so the safety of genetically modified foods more pending further scientific research and practical proof. Of legislation on genetically modified foods also slightly weak , only administrative regulations and departmental rules involving low-level legislation , which is more and more to the market of genetically modified foods do not match . Design a sound legal system to protect consumers' right to security of genetically modified foods is very important.
