Abstract


Transportation infrastructure of the development of the national economy , the development of new transportation is an important symbol of modern civilization . Republic of China, Jiangsu and Zhejiang region of modern traffic also grew rapidly. Especially the completion of the Shanghai-Hangzhou highway has become another important link between the connected the Huhang two places , waterways, railways constitute the region more perfect modern transportation network . Traveling in the historical period, the Shanghai-Hangzhou main waterway transport , changed the situation until the modern construction of the Shanghai-Hangzhou railway and steamship transportation , water also increased . Railway and waterway two modes of transport have their own advantages and disadvantages , the traditional the waterway use of natural waterways , but far smaller than land transport rate , transport conditions and capacity . Shanghai-Hangzhou highway began building in 1925 , both from Shanghai the environment and Zhejiang environment at the same time to start . After its official opening in October 1932 , the Zhejiang Provincial Highway Administration , took the road management agencies , the establishment of a road ancillary facilities to carry out maintenance work on the highway on a regular basis , and training professionals .
