Abstract

The study was carried out on Liaodou 21 in 2010. There are three levels with planting density and four levels with plant distribution. The studies focused on the effect of different plant pattern on yield and mainly agronomic characters, physiological traits and quality, and found the best plant pattern to provide the reference of theory for high yield cultivation techniques of Liaodou 21. The study results were as follows. The emergence rate was not difference in planting density treatments and extreme significant difference in plant distribution treatments, the emergence rate raised notably as increased of plants per cave. The yield was significant difference in plant distribution treatments, the extreme significant difference of yield was found under planting density treatments and interaction between planting density and plant distribution. The highest yield of Liaodou 21 in whole treatments was obtained 3542.27 kg/ha under 0.18 million plants per hectare and 4 plants per cave. The yield of 3 plants per cave was highest among yields of other plant distribution treatment in 0.15 million plants per hectare treatment. The yield of 2 plants per cave was highest under 0.21million plants per hectare. The yield of four plants per cave was lowest in all planting density. Seed weigh of per plant was extreme significant difference under density treatments and plant distribution treatments and under interaction of two factors. Number of pods of per plant and the 100-seed weight were extreme significant different in the density treatments and under interaction of two factors. With the density increasing, the seed weigh and pods per plant were all decreasing. The 100-seed weight would be lower under the higher planting density and the more plants per cave. The distribution ratio of seed was regularity on vertical and horizontal direction. The distribution ratio of seed was stable in middle and top parts of plant, from 70% to 80%. The distribution ratio of seed was from 65% to 85% in main stem. The distribution ratio of seed of main stem decreased from 4% to 26% as number of plant per cave increasing. The distribution ratio of seed of the branch was increased as corresponding percent.Plant height and panel length and podding height were all increasing with the planting density increasing under the same plant distribution and branch per plant was decreased gradually. In the same density treatment plant height and panel length decreased and branch per plant were going down with plant per cave increasing, and branches per plant was increased firstly and then decreased and arrived maximum at the treatment of 3 plants per cave.Protein content of soybean seeds was going up notably with planting density increasing, and not significant difference in distribution treatment, the highest protein content was 39.9% in the treatment of 0.21 million plants per hectare with four plants per cave. Oil content of soybean seeds was going down as planting density increasing, the highest oil content was 21.92% in 3 plants per cave and 4 plants per cave of 0.15 million plants per hectare.Maximum of LAI occurred early as planting density increasing. In the same density treatment and growth stage LAI was increased gradually as plants per cave. Over high density and plants per cave were not benefits for accumulation of LAD in late growing period. In the same plant distribution treatment and growth stage Pn was decreased as density increasing. Minimum of Pn occurred at 1 plant per cave in the same density treatment.Biological yield was raised as planting density increasing, and was not difference in plant distribution treatment. The tends of dry weight ratio of soybean different organs were similar, that means ratio of seed>ratio of stem(?) ratio of leaves >ratio of petiole>ratio of skin peascod. Reasonable proportion of soybean organs of a plant was 33-34%(seed) and 25-26%(stem) and 23% (leaves) and 8-9%(petiole) and 8-9%(skin peascod). Some relative analysis indicates that yield were significantly positively correlated with oil content, and negatively correlated with protein content, insignificance positively correlated with nodes and branches of main stem and photosynthetic rate of florescence. Protein content and plant height or dry weight of plant were very significantly positively correlated, oil content and branches of plant or photosyntheric rate of florescence were very significance correlated. Protein content was significance positively correlated with oil content.
