Objective detection of acute cerebral infarction (Acute Cerebral Infarction, ACI) in peripheral blood of patients soluble apoptotic factors (soluble Fas, sFas) and soluble apoptotic factors ligand (soluble Fas ligand, sFasL) changes in expression levels the explore of sFas / sFasL relationship with ACI condition changes . Were collected from January 2010 to June 2010 in the Department of Neurology of our hospital inpatient treatment of 60 patients with acute cerebral infarction patients ( 32 male , 28 females ) for the study group , age 46 to 78 years , with an average ( 59.82 ± 6.77 ) years; 30 healthy subjects ( 22 males , 18 females ) , aged 48 to 80 years old , on average (60.73 ± 7.15) years for the control group , the records were compared between the two groups generally drinking , blood sugar , blood pressure , blood lipids , previous history of ; enzyme-linked immunoassay (ELISA) assay sFas and sFasL concentration differences in the two sets of peripheral blood sFas and sFasL levels were compared between the two groups . SFas levels in the peripheral blood of patients with ACI course of 48h, 7d, 14d , respectively, 6.27 ± 1.48,4.99 ± 1.15,3.74 ± 0.58 , both significantly higher than 3.00 ± 0.38 , P lt; 0.01 ; serum sFasL level in the course of 48h , 7d, 14d , respectively, 4.40 ± 1.32,3.19 ± 0.94,1.91 ± 0.45 , were significantly higher than the control 1.15 ± 0.21 , P lt; 0.01 . NIHSS, light in weight among the three groups 48h sFas were 4.71 ± 0.69,6.94 ± 0.67,8.06 ± 0.11,48 h sFasl levels were 3.03 ± 0.52,4.94 ± 0.53,6.07 ± 0.88 difference was statistically significant p lt ; 0.01 , and a positive correlation with the degree of neurological deficit . sFas / sFasL level was positively correlated with cerebral infarction area , and no correlation with cerebral infarction site . ACI serum sFas / sFasL level was positively correlated with the expression ( r = 0.748 , P lt ; 0.01) . Conclusions Serum sFas / sFasL involved in the progression of the disease process in the ACI , is closely related to its level of change and the changes in acute cerebral infarction . ELISA assay serum sFas / sFasL levels may provide a new basis for the judgment of ACI condition changes .
