Purpose : by cause of death for patients with uremia , and the study of risk factors for death , to raise awareness of the risks associated with clinical death in uremic patients , in order to take timely response measures to improve the prognosis of patients with uremia . Methods: A retrospective analysis of our hospital from 2001 -2010 hospitalization and outpatient uremic patients with a total of 200 cases , death of patients for the study group ( n = 100 ) , the survival of patients in the control group ( n = 100 ) , the cause of death , the two groups frequency of patients with hemodialysis , serum albumin , serum albumin , serum sodium , lung infection control study . Results: The death of uremia patients with age , gender no correlation (P gt; 0.05); cardiovascular disease is the most common cause of death , after the order of respiratory failure , uremic encephalopathy , cerebral hemorrhage, gastrointestinal hemorrhage . The frequency of death in patients with hemodialysis , serum albumin and albumin , serum sodium were significantly lower than the control group , the easier and death in patients with pulmonary infection ( P lt; 0.01 ) . logistic multivariate analysis prompted : each decrease of 1 times / week dialysis frequency , the risk of death increased by 44 % ; each lower serum prealbumin 50mg / L, the risk of death increased by 54.7% ; hyponatremia decreasing by 5 mmol / L , the risk of death increased by 21.5 % ; their risk of death in patients with pulmonary infection unconsolidated lung infection were 17.66 times . Conclusion: cardiovascular disease , respiratory failure , uremic encephalopathy , cerebral hemorrhage , gastrointestinal bleeding as the common causes of death in patients with uremia ; frequency of hemodialysis , serum albumin , hyponatremia , pulmonary infection , the risk of death as uremic patients factor.
