Abstract

[Objective] analyze carotid ultrasound contrast enhancement vulnerable plaque characteristics, the use of ultrasound imaging evaluation Wendan tablet on phlegm carotid atherosclerosis in patients with carotid artery plaque neovascularization. [Method] 1. Choose 40 cases met the inclusion criteria of the carotid artery soft plaque were randomly divided into treatment group Wendan tablets (22 cases) and control group (18 cases). Two patients were effectively control the underlying disease, the treatment group received Wendan tablets 4 / time, 3 times / day, the control group without clothes other lipid-lowering drugs. (2) before treatment and 3 months after routine ultrasound examination, ultrasound imaging and serological examination, measurement of carotid IMT, plaque thickness, plaque area, low density lipoprotein (LDL), triglycerides (TG) levels were observed plaque ultrasound contrast imaging performance, the use of quantitative analysis software to record acoustic contrast agents based on strength of plaque (BI), peak intensity (PI), calculated contrast enhancement intensity (EI), enhanced density (DE). 3 Comparison of each group before and after treatment and changes in the indicators between the two groups after treatment changes. [Results] 1. Contrast agent filling direction: 40 cases of plaque in the angiography showed an enhancement to the interior surrounding plaques, of which 52.5% (21/40) of the plaque from the performance of the contrast agent to the outer wall of the carotid artery plaque filling, 32.5% (13/40) showed from the outer wall of the carotid artery plaque and lumen way to filling, 15% (6/40) showed the plaque from the carotid artery lumen within the filling . (2) contrast agent filling forms: point-like and / or short form. 3 contrast agent distribution: All the surrounding plaques showed significantly enhanced compared to the core; has 42.5% (17/40) of the plaque showed significantly enhanced proximal end, 35% (14/40) showed the distal end obviously, 22.5% (9/40) showed obvious body; 82.5% (33/40) showed plaques plaques base enhanced obviously, 17.5% (7/40) showed plaque fibrous cap more apparent. 4 3 months after treatment, the treatment group, carotid IMT, plaque thickness, plaque area than before treatment and the control group decreased significantly (P lt; 0.05); treatment group plaque EI, DE than before treatment and the control group reduced significantly different (P lt; 0.05); treatment group LDL, TG levels than before treatment and control groups decreased, were statistically significant (P lt; 0.05). The corresponding indicator in the control group before and after treatment showed no significant difference (P gt; 0.05). [Conclusion] an enhanced ultrasound can be more sensitive to showing the carotid vulnerable plaque neovascularization enhanced hemodynamic conditions and circumstances, and can quantitatively evaluate carotid plaque neovascularization richness helps to provide further plaque vulnerability diagnosis. 2 phlegm patients with carotid vulnerable plaque Wendan tablets treatment, plaque neovascularization reduced. 3 enhanced ultrasound evaluation of the carotid artery can be used as effective means of checking vulnerable plaque.
