Objective: To study the dragon's blood plasma P-selectin in a rat model of ulcerative colitis induced by dextran sulfate sodium (Dextran Sulfate Sodium, DSS), TBX 2 , β-TG levels in evaluation Xuejie inhibiting platelet activation effectiveness in the treatment of ulcerative colitis in the rat model. Methods: SD rats were randomly divided into five groups. Blank rats a normal diet, model control group, low, medium, and high concentrations of dragon's blood treatment group were given 3% DSS solution free drink seven days, the manufacture of acute ulcerative colitis model. After successful modeling, the blank group and the model control group was administered daily saline (4ml / PCS), low, medium and high concentrations Xuejie treatment group was treated with different concentrations (30 mg / ml in 60 mg / ml in 120mg / ml) Xuejie suspension gavage, a total of seven days of treatment. Applications the DAI, HI on each group rated each rat plasma P-selectin by ELISA the TBX 2 , β-TG content. Results: Blank and low, medium and high concentrations Xuejie treatment group DAI and HI scores were associated with model control group were statistically significant (P lt; 0.01); low, medium, and high concentrations of dragon's blood treatment group DAI and HI the score compared were not statistically significant (P gt; 0.05); blank group, low, medium, and high concentrations of dragon's blood treatment group plasma P-selectin, TBX 2 content with the model control group are was statistically significant (P lt; 0.01);, high concentrations of dragon's blood plasma of the treatment group and the control group TBX 2 content of no statistical significance (P gt; 0.05); blank plasma β- TG content with the model control group was statistically significant (P lt; 0.01);, high concentration Xuejie treatment group plasma β-TG content with the model control group was statistically significant (P lt; 0.05), model group plasma β-TG levels compared with low concentrations of dragon's blood treatment group both statistical significance (P gt; 0.05); low, high concentrations of dragon's blood treatment group among the groups DAI, HI score and plasma P-selectin TBX 2 , β-TG content were not statistically significant (P gt; 0.05). Conclusion: DSS-induced acute ulcerative colitis rat platelet in a certain state of activation, application of the dragon's blood can reduce the model plasma P-selectin, TBX 2 , β-TG levels, which inhibition of platelet activation, reduce platelet activation induced inflammatory response, the treatment of ulcerative colitis.
