Abstract


Objective To explore acupuncture on in vitro fertilization - embryo transfer (IVF-ET) treatment period and its possible impact mechanism . Methods for the treatment of 304 cases of infertility IVF-ET/ICSI patients were randomly divided into an acupuncture treatment group ( experimental group ) and blank control group ( control group ) groups. Two groups of patients were treated with gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist (GnRH-a) long protocol treatment , the experimental group from the first day of controlled ovarian hyperstimulation receiving acupuncture treatment , until the day of embryo transfer stops ( COH day without needle treatment ) were observed GnRH-a dosage gonadotropin (Gn) the amount , number of days of treatment and other differences , chemiluminescence detection of serum estradiol (E2), progesterone (P) levels , compared two groups number of oocytes , M Ⅱ egg rate, clinical pregnancy rate , abortion rate and the incidence of OHSS . Results 1. Experimental group, the clinical pregnancy rate was 52.90% in the control group was 50.74% clinical pregnancy rate between the two groups was not statistically significant (p gt; 0.05); abortion rate in experimental group compared with the control group, no significant difference (10.96% vs.10.14%, p gt; 0.05); 2. experimental group gt; 16mm follicles less than in the control group (p lt; 0.05), but the MII rate was higher (p lt; 0.05); 3 . embryo transfer at the experimental group than the control group serum E2 levels (p lt; 0.05); 4, the incidence of OHSS experimental group than in the control group was significantly lower (2.03% vs.7.33%, p = 0.030 lt; 0.05), there statistically significant. Conclusion Acupuncture IVF-ET adjuvant therapy for the treatment process further maturation of oocytes has a certain role in promoting acupuncture can regulate serum E2 concentration is affecting one of the mechanisms of OHSS .
