Abstract


Penetration in the media in various forms to the various parts of our lives in the moment , the the huge earth is defined as a village : the global village . Strong impulse to the power of the media can not be underestimated , it is the life of the individual fields of the social elements into an effective system of ordinary internal driving force , as well as breaking the national geographical boundaries . This paper is to select a special place of special groups , in the context of globalization , the description and study of this group which changes . Ethnographic method of participant observation and depth interview as the main research method , a Hui communities of Northwest China - Zhang Chuan Zhen Cha Wan Village , two four-month ethnographic investigation , trying to show in TV has been a lot of popularity , certain aspects of the Muslim rural society changes . This paper has three main parts : the first part speaks check Bay village dissemination and diffusion of the TV and check Bay village entertainment changes ; second part of the investigation Wan Village, the main mode of transmission and changes ; third part of the modern media and Islamic culture conflict and debugging , and integration . The study found that , the Hui populated rural communities , religious beliefs , customs and build the original cultural environment obviously restrict the propagation behavior of the people . But with the arrival of the era of mass communication , mass communication , in turn , is changing and the impact on the cultural habits of the locals . In the rural communities of the the Cha Wan Village so Hui , the dissemination of traditional culture and popular culture in one of the two fusion with contradictions and coexist .
