Abstract


Herd behavior in the securities market is a special kind of irrational behavior , and serious deviation from the value of the stock will not only price , resulting in the stock price bubble , and will lead to the systematic risk of the stock market continue to increase , affecting the stability of the stock market and market efficiency , even lead to a financial crisis . Therefore, the study of the herd behavior of the stock market in China , especially with a high risk of GEM market has theoretical and practical significance . This paper first reviews the development process of the GEM market , the role and significance of the main elements of the GEM market its GEM market . Analysis of herd behavior theory and its type and characteristics . Use the econometric analysis tool , with the CCK model , all stock is listed for trading on October 30, 2009 to November 30, 2010 GEM study content absolute deviation test the stocks -section earnings and the market portfolio income nonlinear relationship , to prove the existence of herd behavior in the study sample period of the GEM market . That the national government intervention excessive , inadequate disclosure of corporate information as well as the overall market does not regulate the main reason is the cause of the GEM market herd behavior . Finally, the actual situation of China 's GEM market some suggestions to strengthen supervision and standardize the behavior of investors , corporate disclosure and regulating the market .
