Abstract

Power of the active interferences received by antenna’s sidelobes may be much more greater than power of the useful echo signals received by antenna’s mainlobe in RADAR anti-interference, which decreases the signal detection performance. In general, adaptive sidelobe cancellation (ASLC) techniques are used in engineering, which forme beam pattern nulls in the active interferences’incident directions. The thesis researched the 2 auxiliary channels narrowband sidelobe canceller’s implementation algorithms:1. Obtained 3 main influencing aspects of LMS algorithm’s convergence behavior by analyzing. Hence proposed a variable step NLMS (vsNLMS) algorithm, which adjusts the step factor based on a non-linear transformation of estimation error.2. Expounded a block processing technique and look-ahead technique based annihilation-ahead QRD-LS (aaQRD-LS) algorithm. Proposed aaQRD-LS algorithm’s block pipelining fine-grain pipelined topology by the enlightenment of aaQRD-LS algorithm’s overlapped block pipelining fine-grain pipelined topology.3. For the auto-correlation matrix of auxiliary channels’input vector is a 2×2 dimensional matrix in this project, the natural idea is calculat it’s inverse matrix directly.Which results in a 2 auxiliary channels DMI (2acDMI) algorithm. aaQRD-LS algorithm (block pipelining fine-grain pipelined topology), 2acDMI algorithm have engineering values by comparing algorithms’cancellation performance, implementation complexity, etc..
