Abstract


As a new technology, directional acoustic disperse system can generate high power sound with high directivity. As a long-range communication and warning, device, it can be used for crowd control on land, safe distance defines and deterrence at sea, even dispersing birds at airport and on aircraft carrier.The main target of this thesis is to produce a directional acoustic system used in high power disperse device. As one of the key part of the system, is necessary to analyze the equivalent circuit and matrix theory of transducer piezoelectric. Than we array low power transducers to make high power directional acoustic wave output. Base on the analysis of the equivalent circuit parameters of transducer array, a high power, efficient, low distortion driving circuit of the system was devised.Using transducer matrix theory, the high power acoustic is made by directional acoustic disperse technology. Because the direction of a single transducer is limited, through matrix theory we can inhibit the acoustic sidelobe and make the the direction better. As the sound pressure level of a single transducer is relatively low, it is difficult to attack targets, we array transducers and increase system output power then produce attack sound pressure. Because the operating transducer load appears capacitance, when high frequency AC signal added on the load, the impedance of transducer is very small or even similar to short-circuit, and this situation may lead to thermal breakdown or burning device. Therefore base on the research on transducer equivalent circuit, we design the matching network and made the load as resistance or inductance. At this time, the transducer working in resonance, achieve a larger electro-acoustic conversion efficiency. As the drive circuit of piezoelectric transducer matrix, Class D amplifier efficiency as high as 90% or more. We choose the appropriate driver IC and design peripheral circuits with H bridge as the power amplifier unit. To simplify the design process, we simulate the circuit in software Multisim 10.0, and design the circuit schematic and PCB layout in software Altium Designer 6.9. Finally, the performance of the circuit, system direction and sound pressure level are test.
