Objective: To study the PCF (PCF) after chemotherapy, anorexia rats appetite - stimulating factor neuropeptide Y (NPY) expression . Methods : 36 rats were randomly divided into three groups, namely the control group , model group , PCF group . 12 in each group . PCF group PCF rat model of anorexia after chemotherapy were fed to observe their food intake , weight change , and application of a radioimmunoassay determination of the hypothalamus and plasma NPY content , comparison with the control group , the model group differences. Results: After the test, the control group eating the amount , weight and model group significant difference , the p-value , respectively, for the 0.0041,0.0079 , are lt ; 0.01 ; PCF group and the control group eating the amount , weight also there was a significant difference , the p-value , respectively, for the p- = 0.0056,0.0062 , always make lt; 0.01. After the test control group and model group hypothalamic NPY content (ng / mg) have significantly significant difference , p = 0.0236 , PCF group and control group hypothalamic NPY content (ng / mg) have significantly significant difference , P = 0.0362 , both LT ; 0.05 ; after the test, the control group and model group serum NPY content (ng / mg) have significantly significant difference , p = 0.0245 , PCF group with the control group, serum NPY content (ng / mg) have significantly significant difference , P = 0.0137 , both LT ; 0.05 ; after the test, the control group and the model group cerebral blood NPY of significant differences , p = 0.0322 , PCF group and the control group the brain plasma NPY of significant differences , p = 0.0241 , lt; 0.05 . Body weight and hypothalamic NPY content correlation coefficient of 0.704 , p = 0.0026 ; body weight and plasma NPY content correlation coefficient 0.628 , p = 0.0037 , both lt ; 0.05 . Conclusion : PCF can significantly increase the food intake and body weight of rats after chemotherapy , after chemotherapy can increase its mechanism of PCF rat peripheral and central nervous neuropeptide Y content related to loss of appetite .
