Graffiti art is a kind of more fresh public "art", although history is not too long, but its development is rapid, in today almost extensions to every corner of the world. Graffiti art gradually from brim art to mainstream culture change, many of the cities in the world with vogue, halfback and personality art form, therefore, its characters and its influence to the urban environment caused by more and more attention. With the development of The Times, and the city governor found graffiti art to the city landscape value, and gradually become tolerant, some cities have set up a legal graffiti area. In the late 1970s, since China’s reform and opening to the development of cities in China is open, the overall trend open city in art rationally accommodate the recognition, the dynamic visual art form. This fresh public "art" in booming, but also great influence and changing China’s urban environment. In graffiti art on city environment produce positive role at the same time, with the spirit of rebellion because of its own idiosyncratic, graffiti art optional in urban environments appear on city environment and have strong destructive, therefore, need of graffiti art for effective guidance, give full play to its positive role to the urban environment. This paper mainly describes the development of graffiti art history and to the urban environment influence and future development trend. For a place with Chinese characteristics graffiti art area, investigation and study of graffiti art in China and the future development of the urban environment to think about in view of existing problems, and put forward its own views.
