Abstract


With the rapid development of subway, subway station space design artistry receive more attention abroad, the development of diversified trend. But the domestic space art subway station still could not escape the current status of traditional public space image, did not form their own style and system. Blindly copying foreign subway station space design, lack of local specialties. Research subway station with regional cultural space design is a dynamic design pattern is a design leap. This topic is of the \Mainly on the basis of previous research, through field research, literature data and actual cases a combination of methods to study public art design methods and design concepts, design subway station public art performance geographical and cultural characteristics and manifestations of the way meaning. Xi'an subway station each site has its own distinct history and culture, through the Xi'an Subway Line field research, to explore how the selection of public art on the subject matter and technique, embodies the rich cultural and ethical Xian color. I Introduction This paper presents the \Key findings in the analysis of the ancient city of Xi'an, the historical and cultural background, urban characteristics, cultural environment, based on research and analysis of public art and design in Xi'an Metro functionality, form, design, geographical characteristics embodied practices. By comparing the subway station of Art and Design and the relationship between local culture, theory with practice, public art and design of Xi'an subway design proposals and design ideas put forward to explore the theme of public art and Xi'an geographical and cultural characteristics of organic combination of methods, namely You can personalize the geographical and historical elements combining design, theme objects with historical and cultural information. You can also put today's building materials and construction processes and the integration of modern spatial structure, so that phase-compatible aesthetics and functionality, style and format to fit the aesthetic needs of the times. And through practical case right right Xi'an Metro cultural practices reflect regional characteristics make analysis, and cultural construction of Xi'an subway propose effective design recommendations.
