Abstract


Communicative approach as a method of language teaching , language learners communicative competence as the ultimate goal of language learning , a greater impact on the schools of Foreign Language Teaching . With the deepening of the communicative approach , the pedagogy has gradually penetrated into vocational English teaching in China . In this study, the analysis of the situation of English teaching in vocational guides , trying to Communicative English Teaching Method and vocational guides Oral English Teaching , the tour guide spoken English classroom teaching real and socialization , to foster the students fluent use of English the ability to improve students' interest in learning . In this study, 83 students of a vocational tourism school as experimental subjects were divided into experimental classes and control classes , spend a semester experiment . Before the start of the experiment , the students conducted a survey and guides Test of Spoken English . Communicative approach guides oral English teaching in the teaching course of the experiment , the experimental class and the control class still maintain the original teaching methods . At the same time , by the oral classroom teachers interviews to understand the communicative approach in vocational English teaching status . After the experiment , the students guided spoken English test data obtained using SPSS software for data analysis , by the results of the experimental classes and control classes spoken English , communicative teaching guides Oral English Teaching has a good effect , interviews with individual students , but also proved communicative teaching to improve student interest in learning English speaking ability to strengthen . Communicative approach is an effective way to improve the vocational guides spoken English teaching effectiveness .
