Abstract


1949 Nobel Prize winner William Faulkner , as described by its vivid description of the fictional Yoknapatawpha County is considered to be one of the most famous writers in American literature . His work provides a wealth of material for the understanding and study of many readers and critics of the U.S. Southern community . Since the inception of ecocriticism , Faulkner was also considered to be the literary master of depicting the natural world . Ecological analysis in the face of a variety of severe environmental problems today , \description of the light and sound of these two factors , designed to reveal the three ecological theme of the novel : mysterious nature, the contrast of the great natural and insignificance of human as well as natural compassion tolerance and humanity endless desire between contrast. Said from the description of the light , in the novel , the dark light, mainly concentrated in the Description of the forest environment , highlighting the natural and mysterious ; rather light one hand, focused on the body of the bear , the sublimation of the natural image of the other the one hand, implies that the author might convey to the reader ecological implication : If people abandon the conquest of the natural world and coexistence with other life , the man himself will feel the harmony and warmth .
