Abstract


This paper is about "Standardization of school-based curriculum in Minority Areas", I will interpret the standardization of school-based curriculum from the perspective of teaching practice.The methods of this paper are references, conversations and inquiring books. By conversations and inquiring books, I found that "the Non-standard teaching practice" phenomenon in school-based curriculum in minority areas is common. This phenomenon excises everywhere, such as the Teaching Requirements Analyze is non-standard;The Instructional System Design is Non-standard; The Teaching method is simple;The Teaching Mode Design is non-standard; The Teaching Evaluation is Non-standard.By further investigation, I found some reasons for non-standard school-based curriculum:lack of curriculum leadership, low level of teacher professional development, lack of effective organization and management system, lack of funds on curriculum development and implementation, and lack of security on Teaching Quality Management System.Based on the data mining, this paper argues that the school-based curriculum in minority areas in China must to be standardized. This paper proposes some solutions on the standardization of implementation of school-based curriculum:In terms of curriculum design, establish a system which combines elective and required courses, set up a flexible class system, use variety teaching methods. In the curriculum and teaching protection, focus on improving teaching quality assurance, enhanced the ability of supporting the curriculum. As follows:First, strengthen teacher training, focus on improving teaching and research capacity; Second is to enhance the school curriculum leadership to enable the rationalization of teaching resources;The third is to establish mechanisms for joint teaching formed by school teachers and experts. Fourth, establish protection system and teacher rewards system;five is to establish a standardized quality management system, form a reasonable course evaluation feedback mechanism and efforts to improve education quality.
