Abstract


In this study, the retail industry , vendor managed inventory (VMI) model to investigate explore trust between upstream and downstream enterprises in the supply chain in depth , the relationship between information sharing and supply chain inventory levels , and further analysis in trust on supply chain inventory levels affect intermediary role in information sharing from . Current academic research on trust between the inventory levels of the supply chain upstream and downstream enterprises are few and far between . This study on the basis of literature review , combined with the results of field interviews , the theoretical model and related hypotheses by statistical analysis of questionnaire data , the main conclusions : ( 1 ) on the upstream and downstream enterprises between trust each dimension of supply chain inventory level significantly with negative correlation ; (2) between the upstream and downstream enterprises trust relationship of inventory levels affect the information sharing has played a mediating role ; (3) between the upstream and downstream enterprises based on the friendly trust dimension of information degree of shared perception does not have a significant impact ; (4) information sharing between upstream and downstream enterprises of each dimension of the supply chain inventory levels significantly negatively correlated ; inventory levels (5) the individual characteristics of the enterprise supply chain does not make a significant difference . Finally, these empirical findings were discussed , and summarize the existing limitations in the research process , and make recommendations to further research for scholars . In addition, the proposed initiative for enterprises in the retail industry, how to reduce inventory levels .
