Abstract


The sense of dignity is the People’s emotional awareness and the rational judgment of the situation of dignity in their social life. The sense of dignity can directly make ordinary people live out a better self-worth, especially the choice of individual behavior, which is also the key to the harmony to the society in China. Currently, the social transformation in China has brought about great changes in SOE, which will inevitably result in a material adjustment to the labor relationship in SOE, and their workers elite status will be changed either. As the "vanguard" in working class, the workers’ sense of dignity directly relates to China’s economic development and social stability. Therefore, it has both theory and practice meanings on the research of the function that the labor relationship effect the sense of dignity of the SOE workers.This paper, based on the concept of Demand Theory, mainly studies the effect that the labor relationship impact on the sense of dignity of the workers in SOE during the process of the transformation of state-owned enterprises. By compounding the way of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis and by systematically survey and the case interview on the effect that the labor relationship impact on the workers in SOE, it analysis how the wages, labor contract, working hours and labor safty in SOE impact on their workers digity of life, personality, psycology and in society, and try to be comprehesive, thorough, objective and fair.Empirical results show that:labor safety, wages and labor contract influnce the workers dignity of life;labor safety, wages and working hours effect the workers dignity of personality;wages, labor contract, working hours and labor safety impact on the workers dignity of psycology;wages and labor contract effect the workers dignity in society. Therefore, SOE must improve their systems of wage, labor safety, the labor contract and the working hous, thus their workers can gain strong feelings of dignity and so to improve the working efficiency so that SOE can develop better.
