Abstract

This article is based on previous studies, the theory on the basis of using the data of 28 of China's manufacturing industry 31 provinces , metric scale industry index of China's manufacturing industry agglomeration , and gathering the evolution of China's manufacturing industry shift - share model analysis of the spatial effects and structural effects of changes in the industry , while further supplemented by unit labor costs , labor remuneration , labor productivity of labor standards comparative analysis . The study found : (1 ) China's manufacturing industry agglomeration \( 2) manufacturing industry agglomeration in the western region in promoting economic development is significantly larger than the eastern region, the degree of agglomeration of the manufacturing industry of the eastern region are becoming saturated , and the role of economic growth began to weaken , and even some industry played a certain impediment industry gathering excessive region transferred out from the east ; (3 ) capital-intensive manufacturing industry agglomeration role in promoting economic growth has lagged far behind in the labor-intensive and technology-intensive manufacturing industry , highlighting the uneven performance of the industrial structure , capital-intensive manufacturing sector is the main source of supply of intermediate inputs of labor-intensive and technology-intensive industries lag of the development will be an impediment to the development of other industries . The research findings provide a further basis for the transfer of China's industrial structure optimization , has very important practical significance of China 's future development of related industrial policy , industrial structure optimization , narrowing the gap between the eastern and western regions of the economy , to promote harmonious development between regions .
