Abstract


The continuous improvement of mainframe computing, storage capacity and network bandwidth, peer-to-peer technology to become the focus of attention. Internet appeared in a variety of overlay network based on P2P technology. They have a strong user base, affect the behavior of the entire Internet. For such a huge Internet overlay network, in-depth understanding of the network structure properties contribute to accurate simulations, thereby better design and development of P2P networks. Through the analysis of the characteristics of peer-to-peer network at the same time contribute to the development of network security and network monitoring technology. In addition, to study the characteristics of P2P networks can verify existing theories and conclusions in the study of complex network systems. Bittorrent is a typical representative of P2P file sharing, file transfer for the main purpose of BT protocol contributed the majority of P2P traffic. It has ten million online user base, users are widely distributed, its measurement representative. In addition, at home and abroad through active measurement method Bittorrent network characteristics measurement is still in its infancy, it is necessary to carry out in-depth analysis and research. This thesis, bittorrent network active measurement, the content of the research are as follows: 1. Bittorrent networks active measurement study of this thesis content integrated home and abroad BT active measurement techniques proposed measurement program crawler active crawling current BT network node, and interact with them, crawling two Tracker and DHT crawler; own node information is released to the BT network, passively waiting for the connection of nodes in the network. Run in parallel by two methods, you can interact with as many remote nodes at the same time, the network be able to get real-time accurate snapshot of Fig. The choice of different interactive strategies indicators that can be used to measure the BT network. 2. P2P networks active measurement platform design based on the setting of the measurement program, design a P2P network measurement platform, the platform written in object-oriented technology to support multi-protocol extension in the foundation of the platform up to the BT network measurement Further analysis of the status of each node in the the BT network characteristics and network. 3. P2P networks active measurement platform on the BT network measurement results show the analysis of this platform has successfully achieved the measurement of indicators of the BT network, the thesis analyzes two data: (1) BT network client version proportion and the geographical distribution of the node. (2) the BT network scale and geographical distribution of the various types of messages.
