Abstract


Aiming at the fast development of Chinese higher education, the increasing educational-scale expansion of colleges and universities, and the status quo that it is difficult for the traditional office tools to fit in the needs of e-campus, author of this paper suggests that Web Service be adopted to construct the efficient Office Automation System (OAS).Firstly, the background and the meaning of the research is stated on the content organization. Secondly, a list of the demands for OAS in Chengdu University has been sorted out; in allusion to the mentioned demands, the pd preliminary design of the realization for the OAS has been carried out as well as the introduction of the Web Service techniques, the NET platform and the SQL Server database. The workflow module and the Client Management module have been designed and realized in detail, following the regulation of the system synoptic design frame, and the test result has been provided. The test result demonstrates that this system basically achieve the aim of developing providing a reference scheme for the realization of OAS.The main task of the author is to sort out and analyze the basic demands of the whole system combining with the practical situation in Chengdu University with 8 functional modules including Workflow, System Management, Functional Affairs, E-mail, Public Information, Personal Office, Documents management and Public Section sorted out. Based on that, the whole system has been designed from the aspects of frame, stratification, net etc. with the position of the system confirmed. Finally, as a member of the teamwork, the author of this paper is mainly in charge of two functional modules which are System Management and Documents Current, and have finished the design and production with the cooperation of the teammates. Therefore, These two functional modules are stressed on in this paper.
