Abstract


Workflow management technology is one of the important applications of computers to work together to improve enterprise efficiency , and enhance the competitiveness of key technologies , provide important technical support for businesses and organizations to achieve the production and operation of process automation and implementation of business process reengineering . Workflow management system as the basis of the enterprise information construction in recent years has been a hot research field of computer applications . In this paper, the basic theory of workflow and workflow management system , including the principle of a workflow management system , features and architecture , describes the development of workflow management system , to discuss the deficiencies and the future direction of development . According to the workflow management system proposed by the Workflow Management Coalition reference model and the standard idea of MVC design patterns and modular design of the system based on the structure of the the J2EE workflow management system , a hierarchical design and functional design . The main function of workflow management system module detailed design and implementation , including workflow engine , process definition tools, etc. , and the main function of the system operation and verification .
