Abstract


Today, times is the the fast development of imformation technology. The widely application of computer and multimedia technology effected the change of publication of books. With the greatly increasing of CD attached with books each year, reading of the CD attached with books by means of computers. How to scientifically manage the CD-ROMs attached to books and make the best use of it is already a new problem and challenge of library.This paper reported about the develpment of management of CD-ROMs attached with books. From the requirement analysis,systems design,overall design,detailed design and case test,the implementation of various stages were carried on the detailed and implementation. That system mainly includes some functions, as follows:1、Regular users were the lowest rank users in this system. The detailed operating methods were included online registration, inquirying of CD-ROM information, downloing of CD-ROMs mirror, online playing the CD-ROMs mirror, request to the administrator of unrefined CD-ROMs mirror and personal identification number management.2、Regular administrators have be MARC books date import, refined CD-ROMs attached with books, refined resource file mirror, upload CD-ROM mirror, users and log statistical, modification CD-ROM mirror parameter, in addition to regular users all jurisdiction.3、Senior administrator is the highest user privilege in this system, who have all function and operation of the system. Senior administrator have be add and amend the CHINESE-ENGLISH books template, server configuration parameters, delete and amend the CD-ROM mirror, modification CD-ROM mirror.4、Inquirying of CD-ROM information: we can be inquire with different methods, which included exact inquirying, fuzzy inquirying and blocking inquirying, then inqurie CD-ROM abstract information and CD-ROM mirror information.5、Production CD-ROM mirror: The system introduced three methods of refining CD-ROM mirror, which had addition CD-ROM mirror file in system, created under the directory and created under the CD-ROM.6、Production books template: The system designd criterion based on CLC and Chinese higher literature guarantee. It provide the CHINESE-ENGLISH books template and modify template according touser request. But the modification template must meet the ISO9660 criterion.
